I was promoted early on in my administrative career and took on more customer service duties. I also worked in customer service for several years before moving onto the mortgage industry. I took an entry level loan processor position and grew in that position. I worked as a mortgage loan processor for over 15 years, but I was often affected by layoffs which is the nature of the business. During one layoff period I decided to take an account manager/team lead position at a risk management company. As the account manager/team lead, I managed an automobile title department with about 10-15 title clerks in a high-volume call center as well as manage 30 clients. Some of the clients were already clients that I was responsible for maintaining, some were existing clients that I upsold and re-implemented, and others were new clients that I assisted sales with finalizing and implementing. I wore a lot of hats in this position including working with IT daily to help reinvent and develop new software for the clients. After many years of going back and forth between the mortgage industry and other related work I decided to step outside the box and make a career change for something more promising while doing something that I love which is real estate and helping people. I am currently attending college to obtain a bachelor’s degree in business administration. I will be graduating in 2024. I have many transferable skills that would benefit most companies.
