I also was involved in the development of a company supplying seed potatoes to the horticultural market and growing unusual varieties for the supermarket 'Heritage' ranges. In 2004 we moved to New Zealand and I worked with AS Wilcox in potato production for the new Zealand markets. Here I was involved in all aspects of production, from seed and variety selection, production and trials, to delivery to end markets. In 2011 the family returned to the UK where I joined Agrovista. I have since gained BETA, BASIS, FACTs, Soil and Water & Advanced Potato BASIS. In October 2016 the family moved back to live in the Hawkes Bay in New Zealand and I am currently working with the processing crops of potatoes grown by AS Wilcox on contract to ETA and Bluebird Crisps.
