During my tenure leading the Android team at Climate, I was able to improve our crash free rate from 98% to 99.95%, while completing our test automation goals ahead of schedule. This included unit test coverage, and UI test automation reducing our regression time and cost by 95%. I have have had the opportunity to mentor my engineers with weekly 1:1s, help them with career and goal planning, while continuing to improve and contribute to a better product experience. I have taken additional responsibilities such as leading the Developer Relations Roundtable as the chair, responsible for managing a conference travel & meetup budget over 75k. Additionally I have had the opportunity to take ownership of our i18n process to automated our translation services, and architect solutions for unit of measure conversions. Prior to being a people manager, I was a team lead and Android Architect. I have Android UI design experience, back end service experience, integration experience, game UI / mechanics experience, Utilizing Android hardware, implementing 3rd party libraries, writing C++ Libraries and exposing them to Java via JNI, exposing android services via IPC/Binder.
