  Chris Page is a With a deep-rooted fascination for the workings of the brain, spurred by my personal experience with Aphantasia, I embarked on an academic journey spanning Psychology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Educational Psychology, Philosophy, and Digital Systems Design. My passion for leveraging technology to empower the disabled led me to a DTI funded project that resulted in forming a very successful software company in the 1980s. For the last thirty years I have worked in the public sector to embed ICT in Education and facilitate Internet access. This culminated in a 2004-2012 DfE funded pathfinder project where an online teaching and learning environment facilitated pupils taking their portfolio with them to reduce the drop in attainment as they transitioned between primary and secondary schools. After secondments to BECTA, WM5G, and now Building Digital UK, today I find myself resonating with Wittgenstein's philosophy of language and meaning, as I navigate the third exponential wave of my career - the age of literate AI: ...the very nature of the investigation...compels us to travel over a wide field of thought criss-cross in every direction. In the spirit of Wittgenstein, I should not like to spare other people the trouble of thinking but to stimulate someone to thoughts of their own. Reflecting on my journey, my role is mostly one of a catalyst for transformation and an implementer of radical change. Hence, my background in psychology, digital systems, and philosophy has prepared me to contribute to the development of literate, conversational AI systems. My research at Building Digital UK, along with previous experience in the public sector, has honed my ability to architect AI solutions that are not only innovative but also ethically grounded and socially impactful. I am particularly intrigued by the potential of AI to transform access and effectiveness of current learning and information systems, drawing on my experiences to ensure that these technologies are inclusive and empowering. As I delve deeper into the intricacies of AI, I am eager to explore how my interdisciplinary expertise can address the nuanced challenges of this field, with a keen interest in the transition from a command to a conversational paradigm, the intersection of AI and language, the ethics of AI in public services, and the potential for AI to enhance community and discipleship in the digital age.
