He spent three years living in Australia where he worked for St John Ambulance as their event health services manager, clinical training lead and emergency planning lead. After returning to London he worked for St John Ambulance in England providing specialist support and leadership to their national response during the COVID-19 pandemic. He led their response supporting the NHS during the implementation of the Nightingale hospitals and the organisations response to the national COVID-19 vaccination programme.
