Cheryl Koh Email & Phone Number | •Assisting and supporting General Manager in overall controlling Finance & accounting all across Indonesia •Prepare monthly/yearly consolidated financial & accounting reporting, principal account statement, annual budget and forecast, group reporting package & statutory accounts; •Enable proper management of country business funds by performing accurate cash flow forecast; •Reviewing customer credit application, and providing recommendation to the GM and regional to ensure proper procedures and policies are followed in Indonesia; •Exercise control over local and overseas debtors and escalate inconsistencies or identified corporate risks to Management; •Conduct internal audits across the 4 Finance offices in Indonesia and ensure internal control policies and procedures are adhered to and in compliance with Company policies and IFRS ensuring proper audit trails at the same time; •Identify improvement areas and develop good accounting control procedures and best practices to enhance accounting quality & efficiency; •Partner with respective Finance Managers to work with external auditors, tax agent and local authorities in resolving any accounting or tax related issues, ensuring all tax and legal filings as required by local laws and regulations are performed accurately and timely; •Lead, direct, and develop Finance Managers to ensure timely and accurate day-to-day transactional accounting, treasury, cash management, budget control and financial reporting, including inter-company reconciliations with Regional Finance teams in Singapore and Geneva. •Identification of key risk areas during the planning stage as well as throughout the audit •Monitoring the efficiency of the audit process and responding to the issues and problems faced by the assigned audit staff •Responsible to maintain superior client relationship ensuring a friction free environment between the audit team and the client •Preparing audit summary memorandum for the presentation to the Audit Committee •Provide insights (management letter points) to enhance the level of internal controls, free cash flow and working capital analysis, efficiency and effectiveness of business work processes and accounting procedures; prepare management letters/control improvement points and discuss those with the client’s management for their comments and acceptance of points raised as a result of the audit •Review of the financial statements to ensure that they are prepared and presented in accordance with the requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). • Client portfolio included: - Telechoice International Limited (A subsidiary of Temasek Holdings) - National Healthcare Group Pte Ltd - First Ship Lease Trust - STX Pan Ocean Singapore Pte Ltd - Emerson Process Management Pte Ltd
