As Assistant Superintendent, Ms. Dyer led a team of curriculum supervisors and oversaw all aspects of the district’s professional development program, was responsible the observation and evaluation of teachers and administrators, contributed to the development of policy and the budget, and assisted the Superintendent in all areas of district management. Prior to joining Bridgewater-Raritan, Ms. Dyer was the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the Bernards Township Public Schools. She began her teaching career in 1978 as a social studies teacher in the Freehold Regional High School District after earning a BA in Social Studies education from Rutgers College of Rutgers University. Embodying the philosophy of life-long learning, Ms. Dyer has earned masters degrees in Learning and Cognition from the Rutgers Graduate School of Education and Educational Administration from Monmouth University. Ms. Dyer also serves as a consultant for the International Center for Leadership in Education and for Sadlier-Oxford Publishers. She has presented numerous workshops on differentiated instruction, Response to Intervention, and teaching for rigor and relevance.
