These systems ranged from maintenance trainers to high fidelity full-motion flight simulators. Previously, Charlie was the Production Engineering Manager for 777X Fixed Leading Edge & Empennage in St. Louis where he led a team of Manufacturing Engineers & Industrial Engineers providing factory support to assembly operations in support of Boeing's newest aircraft. Prior to this role Charlie spent 1 year as the Production Engineering Composite Center Manager in St. Louis, and 5 years in Boeing Research & Technology as an M&P Engineer providing factory support to composite fabrication for the 787 in Charleston. Prior to joining Boeing Charlie spent 10+ years working in a metal fabrication shop in Independence, MO, training as a machinist and working in various roles in the company including Manufacturing Engineering. Charlie left that company to pursue his education and obtained his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and M.S. in Manufacturing Engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology in 2012 & 2013, respectively. Additionally, Charlie completed his PhD in Engineering Management in October 2020 from Missouri S&T. Charlie and his wife Liz have two daughters, Audri and Allison and in 2022 welcomed their son, Charlie.
