Charles Thou Email & Phone Number | After a secondary education in the Basque Country, and a prep school in Paris, I graduated from HEC Paris. During my school years, I created an association shooting & editing short movies for NGOs, that sent me on a world tour during 1 year. We visited 15 projects in 15 countries and the content we created helped the NGOs raised several 100k€. Working as a webmaster for the association led me to specialize in digital management for my final year at HEC, in partnership with engineers from Telecom ParisTech. It gave me the awesome opportunity to meet two co-founders, with whom I launched Agorize in 2011, a startup specializing in open innovation. Agorize became a scale-up of 100 employees, with +200 big clients (among which Microsoft, L'Oréal, Accenture or Schneider Electric) and a network of 5m innovators. I am now focusing on new projects and am open to new opportunities. I currently explore many topics, from nutrition to AI, always with a twist of innovation of course. I like to nurture agility out of the business world too, as I am passionate about board sports: born a surfer close to Biarritz, I also taught skiing as an instructor in the Pyrenees and I love to ride my longboard skate every day I can. Last but not least, I take an active part in Surfrider Blue, a collective of people supporting fundraising and awareness actions for Surfrider Foundation Europe - a reference in the fight for the protection of the ocean and its users since 1990.
