I've built out benefit programs and total reward strategies, policies and procedures, onboarding/offboarding, employee experience programs, career pathing, design and delivery of training programs, headed recruiting efforts, implemented HRIS, TA, and payroll systems, managed and mentored teams, and partnered with the C-Suite and Sr Management on best practices to scale. In addition, I've worked with start-ups at various stages from both hyper growth environments to a more conservative approach including Seed round to C rounds and beyond. My passion for building has often resulted in being the first hire on the People team and growing the team from the ground up. I've successfully been through five acquisitions and served as a change leader through times of M&A activity. I hold both a Masters of Science in Human Resources and a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology. Given my tenure leading the People function, it's important to note that I approach any new challenge from an agnostic stand-point and understand not all cultures are the same. I bring best practices and experience, but customize solutions in a way that best fits the organizational goals. I love the variety of working in this type of role which enables me to think strategically while building the company but also roll my sleeves up and be a part of the foundational growth. Because of this, I consider myself an "HR Entrepreneur" and a builder of all things People and Culture.
