I envisioned a different model - a whole different paradigm around solar. I founded NewLeaf Solar in 2018 and changed the way solar was brought to my customers. NewLeaf boasts an incredibly fast turnaround time from signing contract to installation and PTO, much faster than the industry standard. Not only are we fast and efficient, but we are profitable at a much lower cost to the end user. Our customers save roughly 1000 per kW by going with us instead of mainstream solar companies; on an average-sized system that translates to approximately 10,000 of savings by going solar with NewLeaf Solar. A large part of my focus at NewLeaf is education for solar professionals, including consulting with established solar companies to help streamline their processes, resulting in faster fulfillment and much lower red-line costs. In addition to consulting and running my own solar business, I also teach classes to solar professionals to give them the tools they need to succeed in starting their own solar businesses. I am passionate about teaching because it accomplishes two important goals: one, it brings more small-scale solar companies to market which is intrinsically good for the environment as well as the industry, and two, it helps hard working Americans to build their own business and carve out their portion of the American dream. I am proud of what NewLeaf Solar is accomplishing and I am passionate about the industry.
