My Focus is on the mechanical systems for automated people mover trains which including Brakes, Bogies (Trucks) and Carbody. The role of Tech Pubs at BT is developing the Preventative and Corrective Maintenance manuals for each train system we are working on. Once a manual is developed we develop a Theoretical and Practical Training Course to aid in the maintenance process learning curve. Once these documents have been completed we go to site and train the local site staff. With the technical research and the exotic travel locations such as São Paulo, Brazil and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia was a welcome new adventure for me. In recent news one of my patents acquired at Magna is now a production reality. Check out US Patent #: US 8398283 B2 and US 20100046242 A1 “High efficiency light pipe”. NRG Alternatives as Director of Technical services (LEDs and Solar), Havistor as Project Manager (Wind Turbines) and Illumivision and MODA Light as LED Sales Mangers. I think that all of these companies built my experience, confidence and diversity which all brought me to Bombardier. As Product/CAD Manager for Harvistor Canada, I lead the production working with the engineering team and key supply chain partners creating molds and fabricating parts, as well wind site design. As Sales Manger for Illumivsion & MODA Light I was able to travel across most of North & Latin America promoting the use of architectural LED lighting.
