Celeste Fontenelle Email & Phone Number | When I was in my second year of college, I was convince by a friend to go out for a women's rugby practice one evening. I arrived to a pitch of 14 girls from completely random backgrounds, and I learned the sport by clumsily running drills without the guidance of a coach, relying on the experience of my teammates. As I continued my young rugby career, I developed a passion so strong, that I went on to become President and Captain of my club and develop from a team of 14 into a competitive team of 36, with an experienced coach. The longer I associated with the sport, the more I was able to interact with people from all walks of life around the world. I brought this tenacity and passion for teamwork to my professional life, and I have continued to be drawn to organizations and agencies where there is a strong team orientation. Just as I have been able to step back and follow in my rugby career then step up and take the lead, I have taken the same path throughout my professional career. Like I did back then, I have been joining forces to assist, help build up, and lead professional teams from a few coworkers to 3-4 separate offices with a diverse staff in multiple states and countries. Throughout my 15 years of professional experience, I have tackled and perfected new skills such as: computer program expertise (MicroSoft Office Suite, Adobe, Deltek software, BST and Concur softwares, various data input software), governmental relations knowledge and event planning, structural field inspection, report writing and submission, accounting and budgeting, project management, staff logistics, and proposal writing. I have supplemented these skills with my educational experiences from which I've developed a knack for research and technical writing. I continue to bring new insights and team building capabilities to any group with which I get the pleasure of working, and I continue to seek out new skills to learn and diverse opportunities to grow, just as I did in my rugby days.
