Catherine Mills Email & Phone Number | I am a Professor of Bioethics at Monash University, Head of the School of Philosophical, Historical and International Studies (SoPHIS) and leader of the Reproductive Biomedicine and Technology research group. My main research interest is ethical, social and regulatory issues that arise around new and emerging reproductive technologies. With a background in philosophy, I am always concerned with fundamental questions about concepts such as autonomy and responsibility. But I am also interested in the experiences that people have in engaging with reproductive technologies and biomedical practices, and work toward improving that experience. My research work progresses a novel combination of philosophy, empirical research and legal analysis, and I have extensive experience in leading multidisciplinary projects on ethical, social and legal issues in human reproduction.
