My experience includes working as an OT on the care Team of a Children’s Hospice. In this role, incorporating professional OT and hands-on 1:1 care I gained a deeper understanding of the complexity of the needs of children with life limiting conditions, the efficacy of equipment and adaptations provided for children and how the demands of caring for a child with complex needs affects the whole family.
