Doing anything from mowing lawns for the folks that were too old to do it themselves, to riding a tractor, to patching potholes or draining the water mains. Right after high school, I worked in a garment factory, then a floral factory. Went to business school and learned a about Data Processing and managment. Was an Office Manager for a lawn care company for 5 years. Then I went to work at Walmart and have been there since 1990. Within 3 months of hire, I was put on a team to install the first "SMART" systems for item file management. I finished that project then moved to the Homeoffice and worked in Field Support for 7 year, in a helpdesk enviornment. From there I was promoted to a System Administrator for the stores. Left Walmart for a couple of years in 99 for family reasons. Returned in 2001. Worked in the Recycle and Reclamations area, then promoted to an Administrative Assistant for Operations. Then promoted to a Project Manager for Shows and Events. Have since transfered back to ISD and am currently working as a Project Analyst for the Workstation environment. My goal is to return to Event Planning as a Project Management Specialties: Contract negotitations, purchasing equipment and labor. Budget management. Event Planning, and setup/teardown of small and large corporate events. Experienced in all Microsoft products, and software. Am a multitasker, and am results driven.
