Starting over is not something I looked forward to, but in hind-sight as often happens, it was a blessing in disguise. I had to look to my experiences and strengths and being a Realtor fit me like a glove. I worked for many years for a mortgage broker and then in business for myself, refinancing mortgage loans, consolidating debt, analyzing loan programs and really helping people when they needed it most. After years of my husband and I both being self-employed, the need for health benefits became evident so I went to work for a mid-sized law firm in Louisville, Ky which handled a lot of real estate law and land transactions. I spent many years there, starting as a receptionist, moving to billing coordinator, then to HR and eventually to office administrator which meant handling all of the fore mentioned as well as all of the financials. I spent many years in this career but unfortunately the economy caught up with me and I was downsized and out of work by 2011. Then the light bulb went off.....REAL ESTATE!!! I had a strong background in mortgages and real estate law, I love people, I am honest, I am competitive, I am a great negotiator...timing was perfect.... my kids were grown so my time could be spent finding new and old friends the home of their dreams. Helping people through the changes, making it fun and feeling very confident that the advice and guidance I give my clients is the BEST. I spent 2013 learning how to use the hi-tech tools, studying and perfecting my marketing The education is constant and the dedication to my clients and their best interest is always priority # 1. One door closes another one opens....this is what I am meant to do and I truly enjoy it.
