These reports automatically identify what constitutes complete test coverage, something which was previously unavailable unless manually tracked by individual testers. • Initiated a research and development partnership with Cadence Design Systems to incorporate the capabilities of Nortel-developed software tools into commercial CAD tools, and to provide an avenue for the future development of CAD tools to support Nortel-specific design needs. • Worked on a joint research project with IBM to establish the translation from timing constraints in Synopsys Design Constraints (SDC) format to IBM’s EinsTimer constraints format.
