Carly Jones Email & Phone Number | Communication and rapport-building skills developed through various customer facing roles (within both retail and recruitment), combined with my passion for the freedom that can be gained from a confident grasp of English, led me to embark on a teaching career within the Further Education sector. As part of this qualification I am undertaking a teaching placement at New College Nottingham. Throughout my time here I have taught Functional Skills English from Entry Level 1 through to Level 1 within the Academy of Supported Learning, working with adult learners with various disabilities. I am also currently teaching AS Level English Language in addition to observing A Level English Language & Literature classes enabling me to further develop my approach to teaching and learning at this level. I have taught across various sites of the college allowing me to engage with a wide range of learners with differing needs and backgrounds. I am keen to obtain my first professional role in this sector from June 2015, at which point I will be a qualified FE Lecturer specialising in English / Literacy.
