I have been cooking since 1983.Four years honorable service in the Marine Corps where I cooked for 400 to 800 people. I graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1989. I received my Bachelors in Hospitality and Restaurant Management 4.0 GPA and Deans' list with the New England Culinary Institute of Culinary Arts. I cooked at the Waldorf Astoria in Manhattan, Westin Bonaventure in Downtown L.A, Splash in Malibu, Border Grill in Santa Monica, Personal Chef for Gary Wilson owner of Northwest Airlines in Holmby Hills, Wolfgang Puck Cafe in L.A, Tengu in Westwood where I received a write up in the L.A Times Calendar Section http://articles.latimes.com/2002/dec/05/news/wk-night5 My dishes have been mentioned also in several of the Border Grill Cook Books, In Touch Magazine, and L.A Times West Magazine. http://articles.latimes.com/2007/may/13/magazine/tm-adayin19. My wife and I formed a Homeless Outreach Ministry called Hope Eternal where we feed and clothe the homeless on Skid row every month. I also love painting. I have done 24 art exhibits. My work has been showcased at DADA, Los Angeles CA, Pacific Design Center, Los Angeles CA, Phyllis Craig Gallery Los Angeles CA, SOBO Gallery Tulsa Oklahoma, Lantern of the East International Exhibition, Los Angeles CA and Pyongtaek City Museum , Korea, Modern Art Gallery, Los Angeles CA, Don O'Melveny Gallery, with a current exhibit in Chicago.
