Consider my accomplishments in my last position as Youth Services Librarian at the Crossfield Municipal Library. • I created boy-centered programming consistently averaging more than 50% boys in attendance at after-school and summer programs. • I expanded weekly tween library club to include multimedia, graphic novels, and book talks resulting in 150% increase in attendance. • I challenged and expanded the library's ‘weeding’ policy in order to create shelf space needed to implement bookstore-style displays. • I conducted a post-project analysis of our library's migration to a integrated regional system. • I created and ran a weekly Lego club which ran at full capacity. • I designed and delivered the local 2013 TD Summer Reading program which is currently vying for a National award. • I initiated and wrote book reviews to expand content of our library’s Facebook page. • I created high-quality original content for two library blogs.
