Carla Mancini Email & Phone Number | Carla Mancini began her artistic career with the Master Ceramist, Guido Vigna (Cuneo/Italy). She continued her studies at the School of Ceramic Art “Romano Ranieri” in Deruta (Perugia/Italy), where she took part in various courses of specialization. The artist acquired and adopted the Japanese technique “Raku” and the technique of “oxidized rollers” to create bas relief, the popular sculpture technique. But her speciality, which demonstrates her best artistic expression, is ceramic sculpturing and overglaze firing, mixed indissolubly with other materials such as screws, bolts, iron wires, and many others, symbols and images like archetype of a ceramic in evolution.
