I work closely with clients and other team members on a range of deliverables, with particular experience in manuscript development. I have experience in a range of disease areas, including oncology, cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease, and rare diseases. My previous experience includes a Postdoctoral role within the Riley group of cardiovascular regenerative medicine at the University of Oxford. I completed my PhD at the University of Manchester in Cardiovascular Sciences. Having previously completed an MRes in Cardiovascular Health and Disease, an MSc in Toxicology and a BSc in Biochemistry, I have a strong background in scientific research. With a background heavily focused on independent research, I have experience in a wide range of experimental techniques, including confocal and light microscopy, and molecular biology and biochemistry techniques such as PCR, qPCR, Western Blot, and luciferase assays. In addition to this, I am experienced in advanced cell culture techniques, having previously worked with several cell lines and primary cell types in single and co-culture conditions. Finally, I have extensive experience in working in vivo, primarily in mice, and carrying out severe procedures such as conducting LAD ligation surgeries on both neonatal and adult mice.
