For many years I worked as a part-time Library Assistant in RCSI in a customer service role assisting students, staff and visitors to the library in the use of library resources, services and facilities to support their learning, teaching and research activities. I especially enjoyed interacting with the students as they could be so much fun. For my last two years working in the RCSI Library I got the opportunity to providing dedicated support to the Content & Metadata Management team by coordinating with the School of Postgraduate Studies to make RCSI research available through open access on the RCSI Institutional Repository, plus cataloguing and processing of new books for the library collection. Doing this work gave me the confidence to revamped our DACTEC website which went live in January 2021. This has increased DACTEC's profile and makes it much easier for our customers to find the information they need. My background is in Quality Assurance/Control with many years work experience in large manufacturing companies. Experienced in: Sales, Business Development, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management, Compliance, Quality Control, Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Validation, and GMP. Strong quality assurance professional with a Graduate Certificate in Food Science & Technology.
