A traditional illustrator at the core, I have a breadth of experience in different design disciplines, but specialize in simplifying complex data for consumption. I was the first designer aboard SignalFx and was not only instrumental in developing the very first features of the data analytics platform, I also designed the branding and created the visual guidelines. 5 years later, SignalFx was acquired by Splunk, and I continued to drive new features in what became their Observability product. I’m also a traditional illustrator, and am actively involved in such mediums as traditional art, sequential comics and graphic art. These disciplines have helped hone my understanding of aesthetics and appeal, and is a large influence in my design work.
