Callum Tufton Email & Phone Number | I'm experienced with AutoDesk software such as AutoCAD & Inventor in the past I briefly worked with PDMS Energy working in the structural Engineering department producing structural drawings for various different parts of oil rig structures. I'm also experienced in designing 3D parts / models & also recently trained to begin designing 3D factories within AutoDesk inventor & AutoCAD Architecture. I worked as an operator on the shop floor at Kasai whilst completing my HNC in Manufacturing Engineering I did this unaided and completely self financed on a night course through Sunderland College. I then applied for an Industrial Engineering Trainee role and was offered a secondment opportuntity and since then I have now completed my HND in Mechanical Engineering & now have completed my BEng in manufacturing engineering. Whilst completing the above education I have been involved in two plant start ups one based in Slovakia leading the L663 JLR defender project as a young process engineer trainee (Interior Trim) injection moulding & final assembly. I am now part of an exciting project with Magna Exteriors on the latest P33B liftgate working in a true single piece flow environment, I strive under pressure to deliver success & push myself well past what is considered limits especially for someone my age. I have a strong understanding & experience in developing APQP documentation from cradle to grave (Process flow, PFMEA, Control plan & SOS / SOP) both creating & managing throughout entirety of projects. I’m confident in my ability to line balance lines both in current production & a process design state. Throughout my entire working career so far I’ve been responsible for delivering high quality floor plans & line layouts to work in both KanBan environments & true single piece flow. Throughout L663 I worked very closely with a JLR STA both Slovakian & English to deliver a good standard of documentation ready for handover to a foreign plant I was responsible for starting up as the sole process engineer based on that project. I’m confident in working in a team but also working on my own I class my self as a low maintenance employee who manages his own time & workload efficiently to meet the companies requirements along with a positive attitude & the hunger to become a better engineer overall. I welcome a challenge & have a large amount of self drive to problem solving & have the ability to take what others suggest whether it be criticism or an improvement & turn it into a technical solution to solve the issue.
