In all my years of work, I've learned to manage tasks by priority, work in teams, give excellent customer service, and manage stressful situations. I've learned all my skills by trying out different jobs from; Mark's Work Wearhouse, Bentley's, People Jewelers, Weekly Flowers, the Byward Market, Public Outreach, and Rona L'entrepot. With all these different skills I've learned over the years, I can openly say that working at public outreach was by far my favorite job. I worked on the phone where I would call people who had an interest in a humanitarian organization whether it was OHS, Doctors Without Borders, Oxfam, Unicef, and more I would have pleasant conversations with people by giving a short presentation about the organization and collect donations if the cause was something that really touched them. It was one of the most stressful jobs I've ever done but it thought me so much about all the great organizations out there. Also, selling something on the phone and getting someone's trust when they can't see you isn't easy. I've changed jobs very often but its a collection of all those skills that make it so I will become a great planner someday.
