This role consist of utilizing customer data as a statistical norm to conduct a test representative for components to pass procedures, duration, and durability of the test. This role consist of working cross function from engine to electric motors to both meet desired targets in each department. During this time I have established a global document all hybrid powertrains start/stop tests are referenced off of. Previously, through the department of advanced concepts engineering at Fiat Chrysler Automotive and eventually Stellantis, I was responsible for brakes and the exhaust systems for large scale vehicles. Sole responsibilities entail working closely with R&D for the OEM vehicle market group to develop and implement new technologies, conceptualize potential product direction, and refine viable paths. In addition, develop and document design specifications and work closely with manufacturing, quality, service, and safety teams to ensure the end product moves efficiently towards production. This is executed by using the software such as Teamcenter, Siemens NX, and Vis to analyze and alter mechanical components and assemblies. Prior, to my professional career I attended the University of Idaho from 2011-2016. Over the course of the years, I was apart of an assortment of clubs from vice president of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) to being the lead mechanical engineer on our formula SAE team a collegiate third scale formula car serious. During my time there I learned I further reinforced my skills in Solidworks which I learned during high school, operated Catia, Mastercam for CNC machine operations, and manual machine production with the use of lathes, mills, and other assorted machinery.
