I am guided by our purpose: Doing now what patients need next. There is still so much to do, when it comes to helping patients most in need, in low/middle income countries and underserved populations across the world. It’s not only an ethical imperative, it’s indeed a business imperative. Today’s emerging markets and underserved populations are tomorrow’s powerhouses. I’m convinced that we can leverage the economic growth of emerging markets and the talents of private and public stakeholders, to establish more partnerships between health authorities, life science companies, health care practitioners, patients associations and other health care actors for mutual benefit and health improvement.
