Brunella Angeli Email & Phone Number | Architect, Educator, Writer. I hold a PhD with honors in Architecture History&Theory from Politecnico di Milano, with two years residence at UC Berkeley. I am interested in the meanings and effects of urban models both in design building and in the manipulation of the urban landscape that we occupy. In my thesis, I have explored the notions of the unfinished, the memorialized, the referenced and the replica to create alternative histories of a city. As a curator, I worked on exhibitions at the MAXXI Museum in Rome and Palazzo Te in Mantova (Italy). I have co-authored two books on Italian Postmodern architecture and on the development of the postsuburban metropolis; I've also published on contemporary architecture in various magazine. I have thought courses on modern and contemporary architecture history and on the evolution of museums. I am Lecturer in the Design Department at UC Davis, and I am currently editor for The Plan Journal.
