Triple traded? Maybe, lol. I enjoy the challenge associated with operating a complex offshore processing facility and particularly enjoyed the nuts and bolts side of construction/commissioning. I n recent years I have enjoyed an Operations mentoring role, leveraging my experience to assist the development of my less experienced East Timorese workmates. I have filled a CCR role previously but have no problem getting my hands (oops, gloves for you HSE reps) dirty in the field. I miss the "That's sorted!" satisfaction that came with being on the tools but I also appreciated the direct process control aspect. It's a hugely complex process, complicated by the restrictions and problems associated with the remote offshore location and a multinational workforce, but it is never boring. Where to from here? I'm not sure. The end of field life is in sight, although the finer details/schedule have yet to be fully defined. Stay tuned.....
