In 1991, I started my career with Fredric E. Russell Investment Management Co., a boutique investment management firm in Tulsa. I also worked to gather additional share of existing clients' share-of-wallet (i.e., consolidating assets held away). Another important aspect of my job included new business development (where I partnered with the firm's salesforce to close new IM&T). During my tenure, clients overcame "The Lost Decade" bookended by "The Tech Bubble" and "The Great Recession" (aka The Financial Crisis), while my book-of-business grew from 250MM to over 800MM. In 2018, I became Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Happy State Bank & Trust Co. in Addison, Texas, where I develop and implement fully diversified portfolio strategies for our clients' portfolios.
