Each hospital system has its area of expertise that I have had the opportunity to be educated with. At DMC Childrens, I was able to participate in ecmo circuits, continuous renal replacement therapy, and even transplants for the pediatric population. I grew an intense amount of knowledge working here. Working at Ascension St John is allowing me to expand my leadership role. I have been able to work closer with physicians and even practice as a charge nurse on my unit. I plan to continue my education in more certifications as the years come on. I would overall describe my work ethic to be driven on continuing my education and advancing my skills. I am a passionate advocate for my patients and myself in the workplace.
