  Bristyn Nadeau is a I am a recent graduate of Kent State University with a B.A. in applied communication studies and a minor in French. I have taken coursework in visual communication design, social media, business and journalistic writing, photography, and public speaking. I also centered much of my elective coursework in the areas of global and intercultural communication. I grew my skillset and my love of cultural exchange as president of the Society of Global Cultures (an intercultural communication student organization). I held two different student employment positions while at Kent State. I was an Administrative Assistant for the Department of Mathematical Sciences and a Marketing and Communications Assistant for the Division of Research and Sponsored Programs. I recently worked as an English language assistant through France Education International and the Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF). I worked in a primary school as an assistant to teachers across 19 classes with around 400 students aged pre-school to 11 to aid in language acquisition and cultural exchange. I spoke mainly French with my co-workers and used the French language to help communicate with students outside of English classes.
