Brian Gardiner Email & Phone Number | As a Correctional Officer, I have served in Custody and Security, Transport, Inmate Services, and Facility Management. I was a Field Training Officer (F.T.O.) from 2000-2004, and an operator with the Emergency Response Team (E.R.T.) for 6 years, with 2 of those as Team Leader from 2003-2009. I was promoted to Corporal in 2004, Sergeant in 2007, and Lieutenant in 2012. As a Sergeant Shift Supervisor, I led a Custody & Security squad of approximately 13 officers for 5 years. Upon promotion to Lieutenant, I served as a Shift Commander for a Custody & Security Team of approximately 25 officers for 3 years. I was then assigned to the Inmate Services Commander position for about 4 years, during which my main responsibilities were overseeing inmate programs and the Case Management Unit. After Inmate Services, I spent 1 year as the Facility Management Commander. In that position I was responsible for facilitating special projects and renovations, and coordinating overall upkeep and maintenance of our facilities. I was reassigned to Custody & Security as a Lieutenant Shift Commander for the second time in March 2020 and spent about 2.5 additional years in this position. In August 2022, I was promoted to Captain, and assigned to the position of Commander Support Services. I have completed the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy which includes the Supervision, Command and Executive Leadership Institutes. I have completed the Public Safety Leadership: The West Point Way (120) hour program, and I am a proud graduate of the National Jail Leadership Command Academy (NJLCA), Class #43.
