Currently, I serve as Associate Dean of the School of Education, Human Ecology, and Sports Studies at SUNY Oneonta. I have also served as Co-Chair of the campus-wide Strategic Planning Council to successfully steer student academic success, faculty development, and operational growth. I recently led 25 educator preparation programs to successful AAQEP accreditation for a full 7-year term. I manage accountability reporting for the School of Education, Human Ecology, and Sports Studies and have facilitated local program development, new policy and procedure implementation, and data system development. As an ACE Fellow with the American Council on Education (ACE) during 2018-19, I gained invaluable leadership experience interacting with many leaders at a public regional campus and being personally mentored by the President and the Provost. I also visited more than two dozen other institutions during my fellowship year and benefited from hearing nuggets of wisdom from many national leaders in higher education. Selected achievements include: • Received the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching • Received the Paul R. Pintrich Outstanding Dissertation Award (from APA's Division 15) • Awarded grant funding for research from internal and external funding sources • Selected for prestigious national leadership development program (American Council on Education Fellows Program) • Selected to Chair the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th International Conferences on the Future of Education • Invited as a keynote speaker for the 2019 International Conference on Digital Pedagogies in New Delhi, India
