Braeden Peterson Email & Phone Number | As an individual who is passionate about people and thrives on getting involved in any many different areas, I have naturally sought out opportunities to allow my creativity to flow and satisfy my curiosity. In June 2019 I walked the stage at Simon Fraser University and received my BBA Honours in Marketing and Entrepreneurship with a certificate in Innovation. Wanting to partake in practical experiences, I got heavily involved at University through various clubs - including starting my own - as a teaching assistant, and as a part of a practical technology program. Because of my involvement and passion, I have begun speaking at SFU and in High Schools about Entrepreneurship, Volunteerism, Success, and many other topics. With this, I helped lead discussions with the University on how to improve student engagement and how to improve the Beedie program itself. Outside of school, I have also helped lead and direct many different projects. Recently I was the head facilitator for the Rotary District 5050's youth program YAIL, the activities director for the Foursquare Youth Camp leading 180 students and leaders, the co-founder and Director of Operations & Logistics for Code Green, a sustainability pitch competition for high school students, and the project manager for the Love My City initiative, a tri-city effort to unite people and their community. Giving back and mentorship is an essential element of my life. I continually foster my natural curiosity and desire to grow by taking on new projects and embracing the idea of "Becoming Comfortable, Being Uncomfortable. Thanks to my nature, I yearn continually improve myself and others. Because of this, I have been nominated as the 2016 Surrey Board of Trade’s Top 25 Under 25.
