Bradley Long Email & Phone Number | Hey my name is Brad Long, I live in Fort Collins, Colorado and have a decent amount of experience in medical imaging. I really enjoy my job and take pride in providing excellent patient care. I started my career in 2010 after passing my ARRT board exam. I worked in a trauma II hospital (NCMC Banner Hospital) for two years as a radiological technologist and gained some great experience in every aspect of the job. From there I went to Poudre Valley Hospital (now UCHealth Northern Region). I worked in the operating room and provided fluoroscopy (live x-ray) for an array of surgical cases. About 14 months into the job I was promoted to imaging manager and scheduler for the GI lab. I absolutely loved that job but knew I wanted to advance my imaging career even further. In late 2013 I was chosen for a Vascular Interventional Technologist/CT Technologist dual modality cross training position. I worked two days in cat scan and two days in IR. This was also an amazing job and I really enjoyed both modalities. I trained and studied very hard and passed both board exams quickly. I gained tons of knowledge and experience in both modalities. In 2017 Uchealth opened up a new emergency department and at this time I had to chose between Interventional Radiology and Cat Scan. I chose Cat Scan due to a better schedule. I have now been working as a CT Technologist for over 7 years and still love it. I work for a great organization and am surrounded by great staff and doctors. I look forward to seeing where this career field takes me in the future.
