At Survalent, I had the opportunity to lead a small team that attained 204% of Plan in 2018; the highest performing global region. During my tenure at GE, and supporting a team of 11 account executives, we grew the Canadian region at a 13% CAGR over a three year period and was recognized as the #1 growth region in NAM in 2012. As both an individual contributor and manager and as employee #4 in Canada at APC, I built a 20 person national sales organization comprising of enterprise and channel account executives, inside sales and sales engineers and was awarded 100% Club 2004 – 2007. In earlier roles, I led APC's channel efforts in Canada and was asked to take on a US channel development role focusing on some of the largest IT resellers including GEITS, Verizon, Pioneer and Avnet, where I was able to successfully grow the revenue base by over 40% (to exceed target) over a two year period. From an operational perspective, I had the opportunity to lead and support the Canadian integration efforts of several acquisitions including Constant Power Inc. (Stem), MGE Systems (APC) and APC (Schneider Electric). At WalterFedy, as the first externally hired CEO in their 60 year history, I introduced and implemented Lean Sigma into operating processes including design, documentation and project delivery; justified and received Board approval for company expansion into the Hamilton market as their first branch office; and accelerated our investment in Energy Management Solutions resulting in the award of six provincially funded energy assessments ranging from 10,000 to 50,000 in value. My experiences demonstrate an ability to create and nurture growth cultures as a change agent who works collaboratively across teams and makes the difficult decisions necessary for business transformation.
