Boyd Foster Email & Phone Number | I have recently graduated from Westminster College (PA). Soon, I will be pursuing my interests in accounting with Baker Tilly, as I have accepted a role as an External Audit Associate in their Pittsburgh office to start in July of 2023. I believe that my time at Westminster, as well as previous experience has immensely prepared me to transition to a full-time career. This past summer I completed a Tax Internship with CBIZ MHM in Providence, RI. During this internship I was able to absorb valuable information regarding a plethora of tax information including, but not limited to, 1065 and 1120 returns, K-3 workbooks, and learning CCH Axcess Tax and CaseWare Binders software. Although I am pursuing a career in auditing, I believe that this internship helped me better understand the world of accounting and has provided me with valuable background information about tax regulations in the U.S. The accounting and business classes and professors that I have had the pleasure of interacting with have helped elevate my education by consistently providing real world connections and examples for the classwork we complete. Having smaller class sizes and more frequent classes allows me to learn more from the professors and get a better understanding of topics. It is because of their hard work and dedication that I feel prepared to transition into post-graduate life.
