Botao Shao Email & Phone Number | Botao Shao was born in Anhui, P. R. china, in 1981. He received the B.S. degree from Electronic Engineering in 2002 from Xidian University, Xi’an, P. R. China, and the M. S. degree from Microelectronics Major in 2005 from the Institue of Microelectronics, Xidian University. From the year of 2005, he joined Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSMC), the largest silicon IC foundry in the world, as a process integration engineer. From September, 2005 until September, 2006 Botao joined as a doctoral student in the Department of Microelectronics, Fudan University, Shanghai, P. R. China. Later he was enrolled into KTH as a Ph. D candidate and was awarded Ph.D degree at 2013. The doctoral thesis deals with the research and development of RF&Microwave filters, antennas, transmission lines and RFID transponders. His research interests include development of near field communication techniques including radar and RFID system, prototyping and testing promising mobile RF devices for potential commercialization, full cycle development of conformable RF electronics, and design and implementation of RF electronic circuits.
