Co-authored survey specs & stds for Nigeria upstream. 1998-1999, on short assignment in Shell Expro, UK as a Survey Consultant – worked with data integrity and GIS team. Back to Nigeria he became Snr GIS Analyst, responsible for GIS opportunity delivery, document mgt strategy and was team webmaster. In mid-2002 he assumed Head Geo-spatial Information Mgt Shell Nig, leading +/-40 professionals. Accountability includes team mgt, budgeting, contracting and implementation of Shell Geo-information (GI) strategy – covering GIS, remote sensing, geodetic assurance, data mgt, and mapping. In 2009 became Head Geo-information Mgt with accountability widened to include location Head Geomatics - coordinated GI projects delivery, technology, stds and JV engagement. Also capacity building, coaching, mentoring, litigation & emergency support. A SG certified Technical Authority, recruitment assessor and Shell Open University instructor for Geodesy and Geomatics. 2X Shell excellence awardee. Fellow of NIS 2014.
