Bobby May Email & Phone Number | Originally trained as a teacher in NSW I moved to Queensland in the late 80's and lived in Port Douglas working in the tourism industry , primarily marine tourism. After completing a Master Class 5 and Marine Engine Drivers ticket I worked on tourist vessels including the Lady Douglas a small 24ft vessel which was noted for its great tours and the first to boast an "all girl " crew in Port. I moved to the luxury charter vessel ISIS II for about 6 years with some amazing customers and visiting some even more amazing destinations on the Great Barrier Reef . I was also responsible for the marketiong of the vessel and spent some time overseas, promoting and marketing, particularly in the USA. After Isis was sold, I started up - Bobby May Yacht Charters and worked on a variety of luxury charter vessels and put together some very interesting charters. I then receieved an offer to work for Reef 2005 which was promoting Marine Training and working with schools,youth and the marine industry .The position greatly appealed to my passion in making a difference for young people.Two years later I became the CEO of VPG, a sister organisation to Reef 2005 encompassing the full range of business and industry training for the youth of the region. In March 2015 I resigned from VPGInc and am currently considering my future directions, quality of life and the where I might be heading to next.
