  Ben Wobker is a I grew up in the Redmond area and attended Redmond High School. Later received a bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Montana in Missoula. Enjoying the Northern Rockies and a thirst for recreation I finished PT school at Montana. After numerous football, basketball, and track injuries I decided physical therapy would be the career. I began volunteering at the Lake Washington Sports Clinic in 1992 under the expertise of Ken Roll. I volunteered for thousands of hours at local clinics and hospitals in Seattle area and Missoula. After finishing my clinical rounds at Overlake and Evergreen Hospital completed my final internship at the clinic where I had begun 8 years earlier. My paid career began at Healthsouth in Redmond in 2000. This was an excellent place to learn from experienced therapists and work with professional athletes. Healthsouth served as the Mariners home clinic and also served many other professional and collegiate athletes in Seattle. Upon my return to Redmond in 2000, I immediately got involved with my alma madre RHS. Volunteering at the high school as a trainer for all sports and also coached football and track. I sold Redmond Physical Therapy in 2010 and opened Lake Washington Physical Therapy in Kirkland with my wife Sara. We were fortunate enough to have a great staff, which quickly grew thanks to their dedication and community involvement. I founded two races during this period the Redmond Derby Days Dash (2009) and The Kirkland Shamrock Run (2011). In 2016 I partnered with Chris Johnson and created RunCadence for iPhones and Apple Watch. In 2016 we also expanded LWPT opening our 2nd clinic in Kirkland’s Houghton Neighborhood. With our great friends Renee and Jason we collaborated to open our 3rd clinic in 2018, Boone’s Landing Physical Therapy, outside of Portland. In summer of 2019 we opened our 4th clinic in Kenmore with esteemed colleague and fantastic manual therapist, Joe Nance. It was a pleasure and am amazing opportunity to help grow start up Luna with great colleagues and skilled professionals out of silicon valley in 2019. In my spare time I enjoy mountain biking with my son, wake boarding, snow boarding, running, and golfing. My other passions are social causes and philanthropy and work closely with the great people at Hopelink which helps serve our local community as both a foodbank and providing counseling and skills to those displaced by domestic abuse, tragedy, and layoffs. Assisting the most vulnerable in our Kirkland community has the biggest reward to me personally of all my endeavors.
