Ben Crooks Email & Phone Number | I've worked for Tata Steel/ Corus Special Profiles for over 10 years now. I started out as a production operator and over the years i have learned every job there is to know in my department from pulpit operators to stocktaking and QC inspection. I now am only 1 of 6 men on site that can do Straightening which is using 2 RSM machines to straighten steel bars to within a tolerance for all our customers. We do a various of sections from grousers, bevels, J Bars, Fork Flats and Crane Rails etc. All have to be straightened within a tolerance then to be sent off to the customer. I am also able to drive numerous Over Head Cranes on site with my crane license. I have a slingers license, Burning license and think i can burn to a good standard. Over the years i feel i have the respect from the team i work in and i also work well with others within my team. I'm very reliable and get on with tasks which are given out to me, i'm also now our teams Deputy Team Leader
