The work of a physical therapist is extremely helpful and important, which is why I am now on the track to getting my own Doctor of Physical Therapy. I am currently an Exercise Science BS major at Chatham University with a guaranteed seat in their graduate DPT program. I have experience job shadowing at both an out-patient physical therapy clinic and the University of Maryland Medical Center. I was able to witness a wide variety of cases, spending time in the newborn, trauma, and orthopedic units. Both experiences heightened my passion for physical therapy, and I am hungry for more opportunities! New to the professional world, I am very open to discussion.
