Ayaan Asim Email & Phone Number | I am currently a student in the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UTD, studying accounting. I am in the Professional Program in Accounting (PPA) class 16 at UT Dallas, and am also currently involved in Accounting Leadership Association, National Association of Black Accountants, and Ascend. My goal is to receive my bachelor’s degree in accounting in May of 2024, followed by pursuing my Masters of Accounting. Being able to work in public accounting, as well as sit and pass the CPA exam, is what is driving me to pursue these goals. Since I was very young, becoming a CPA was something I wanted to work towards. A few compliments to these goals are my real-world work experience in a leading financial accounting firm and efficiently managing a team of 10 individuals in a restaurant environment. In these positions, I was successful and gained leadership skills, team-building skills, and the ability to think and analyze situations and data critically.
