Both my work and my education experiences are originating from Mechanical and Chemical Engineering in the 80's and 90's but more recently I have been mainly engaged towards research in nanostructured functional materials as R&D in academia. I have over 30 years working in prestigious research projects were I have been a key person writing over 6,000,000 worth of research funding. I have published over 60 papers in high impact journals. My high reputation in research have led to being invited to the editorial board of journals and invited lecturer in prominent international conferences. With my Engineering background my work approach is very applied and systematic. I am a good team leader and have an exceptional ability for transferring knowledge. The last reflect my decision of taking up an offer of Lectureship in School of Engineering at LSBU. Since October 2013 I have been teaching Design Projects, Industrial Case Studies, Clean Technology, Thermodynamics, Environmental Management, HYSYS process flow simulation, Heat Transfer and Energy Management & Sustainability, which all complements my ongoing research activities in clean energy, energy conversion in material, catalytic synthesis & reactions and solid state refrigeration. My current position is Course Director of BEng/MEng Chemical (and Energy) Engineering and MSc Advanced Chemical Engineering all in the Division of Chemical and Energy Engineering at LSBU
