I decided to venture into a industry that I truly loved and could see myself in for the long-run, the retail industry. What they thought was going out on a limb was me chasing my dream. In a time that you see very few people happy in their current positions I wanted to make sure that wasn't me. I for one believe in not having any regrets in my life time. So it's no surprise that I work in one of the fastest changing most unpredictable industries. I would best describe myself as someone who is laid back, but yet has a sense of urgency when needed. I'm very detailed oriented and is always looking for new and innovative ways to tackle a problem. I believe in thinking outside of the box and collaborating internally with a team to find a solution and externally to find a different perspective. I love interacting with people on the floor and making them feel good about themselves. I would have never imagined I could bring joy to a person's life by getting them into a new set of clothes. While I do love what i do, I truly want to get back into the corporate side of retail. I would love to have an entry level job at a company as an assistant buyer, assistant product merchandiser or merchandising assistant. I'm open to new possibilities, looking for an opportunity to grow with a company and to make a major impact.
