My extensive management and leadership skillset has been honed by more than 20 years of clinical service in the NHS and elected board member roles at the British Cardiac Society and the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society. I was elected to Fellowship of the European Society of Cardiology and the American College of Cardiology in 2021. I have brought this broad repertoire of clinical, academic and research expertise to Medpace as a Medical Director in Cardiology. My role at Medpace has afforded me the opportunity to cultivate and further expand my expertise in protocol development and medical writing, contribution to and review of patient materials, serious adverse event assessment and processing, safety monitoring and aggregate safety data reviews, active participation in independent DSMB meetings, the IND application process with the FDA and other regulatory authorities. I am a functional area lead responsible for reviewing research conduct plans outlining the roles for sponsors and the CRO team. I am a final signatory to clinical operations plans and trial protocols, and have the privilege of serving as a mentor and supervisor to several medical directors and advanced nurse practitioner members of the cardiovascular medicine team.
